At CalcFlow.io, we prioritize the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by CalcFlow.io and how we use it.

1. The "Client-Side" Architecture

Unlike traditional financial tools, CalcFlow.io is built on a Serverless, Client-Side Architecture. This means:

  • No Data Transmission: The financial figures, hourly rates, and invoice details you type into our calculators are processed entirely within your web browser (via JavaScript).
  • No Storage: We do not have a database that stores your financial inputs. Once you close or refresh the tab, your data is wiped from memory.
  • No "Phoning Home": Your inputs are not sent to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

Since we do not store user accounts, our data collection is minimal and limited to standard web analytics:

  • Log Files: Like many other Web sites, CalcFlow.io makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol ( IP ) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
  • Cookies: We use cookies solely for saving your User Interface preferences (e.g., Dark Mode vs. Light Mode). We do not use cookies to track your financial history.

3. Advertising Partners (AdSense)

We may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

4. Third-Party Links

Our tools may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Wise, PayPal, Stripe) for the purpose of checking current rates or signing up for services. We have no control over the content and practices of these sites and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.
